Unity Search has partnered with a highly reputable investment company in Downtown Dallas and on hybrid (3 in/2 out) schedules that is looking to hire a Staff Accountant. This company retains their people very well (average tenure is 8+ years) due to their culture and great work/life balance. This is an opportunity for someone who wants a stable role with a friendly/knowledgeable team. Compensation for this will depend on experience and fall in the 80-90k range + bonus.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare and enter various journal entries, including accruals
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Prepare various reports and information requests for annual audit
- Prepare various cost allocations to subsidiaries
- Other duties may be assigned
Some of the requirements are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1+ year of accounting experience from either public accounting (audit) or industry
- Experience with Epicor Enterprise, Essbase, or Sage Fixed Asset software preferred
- Strong with excel
