Job Description
Senior Tax Accountant – Oil & Gas – West Houston – 2 WFH Days Per Week
- Prepare and review federal, international, and state tax returns (including Forms 1120, 1065, and related schedules), a few sales and use tax returns, and other related filings.
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including the calculation of deferred taxes and analysis of current and deferred tax accounts.
- Assist in various tax planning and restructuring projects, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and international tax matters.
- Support tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, preparing responses to requests for information.
