Job Description

Senior Tax Accountant – Oil & Gas – Northwest Houston – 1 day per week from home

• Prepare  the quarterly and annual ASC 740 and effective tax rate calculations.
• Part of the team who prepares the US federal consolidated tax return and other US tax forms. 
• Serve as the Administrator for the tax preparation software (Thomson Reuters) for income tax provision and compliance and assist with automating processes and procedures.
• Work on research and planning projects as needed on complex business and technical tax positions. 
• Maintain fixed asset tax information and reporting.
• Smaller, close knit tax team.
