This large, very stable and dynamic company has exclusively partnered with Unity Search in search for a Senior SEC Analyst. Not only is this company doing very well financially and offers very unique perks, but this role has significant visibility within the company and will provide the right individual an opportunity to see a variety of responsibilities.
 

Some of the primary responsibilities include:

• Prepare 10-Q, 10-K and earnings release
• Participate in month-end close process
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare quarterly financials
• Review XBRL files
• Evaluate new accounting pronouncements and impact on business/financial statements
• Assist with technical accountings areas including revenue recognition, impairment and lease accounting and other related policies/procedures

Some of the key requirements are:

• Accounting Degree required
• CPA preferred but not required (though must have at least one section passed)
• 2+ years’ experience if public accounting foundation, with publicly traded clients
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
