Senior Payroll Manager

UNITY Search has teamed up with a major publicly traded hospitality company to find a Senior Payroll Manager. Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete payroll process, and ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Supervise and guide direct and indirect reports, managing their day-to-day payroll responsibilities.
• Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to gather and verify payroll data, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
• Generate various payroll reports, including tax filings, benefits, deductions, and other compliance-related reports.
• Provide support and guidance to employees on payroll inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Uphold confidentiality and ensure data security for all payroll-related information.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field highly preferred.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in payroll management.
• Demonstrated experience leading a large payroll team of 10 or more employees.
• Expertise in hospitality payroll, including managing tips, bonuses, and commissions.
• Proficient in a variety of payroll software systems, with experience in their implementation and ongoing management.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, with the ability to reconcile payroll data with financial records.
• Excellent attention to detail, coupled with strong organizational and time management skills, enabling the successful handling of multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all organizational levels.
• High degree of integrity and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential payroll information.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
