Unity Search has partnered with a successful and fast-growing real estate developer in Central Dallas in its search for a Senior Accountant. This company offers a very good work/life balance and great benefits including gym membership reimbursement, 401K match, company contribution, etc. This role will be responsible for the preparation of periodic financial statements, footnote disclosures and other financial reports. The Senior Corporate Accountant will ensure financial statements, other reports, and documentation comply with professional standards and U.S. GAAP reporting standards. This role will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge across the various Company businesses assisting with accounting, Treasury, and Financial Planning and Analysis teams on a variety of reporting projects and ad hoc data analyses. Requirements include an accounting (or related business) degree and 2.5-3+ years’ experience with public accounting, specifically real estate, oil and gas, financial services, and hedge fund backgrounds. Additionally, this person must have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and time management skills along with strong verbal and written communication. Salary for this role will depend on experience but will roughly be in the $100K - $115k range plus strong bonus.
