Do you have QuickBooks experience AND are you considering contract-to-hire opportunities? We are partnering with a client in east Irving who is looking to hire immediately.

The preferred candidate will have a background in financial services, the automotive industry, or manufacturing/production management. This company includes both multi-entity and multi-location businesses with classifications (for-profit, nonprofit) that require deep engagement with operating teams to drive transparency in financial results. A rapidly expanding set of businesses requires a flexible and forward-thinking leader to manage financial controls and a partnership mentality to ensure business operators have the support needed to succeed.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Managing the core accounting responsibilities for up to six companies, with a core focus on full-cycle accounting
• Full-cycle month-end close
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Entering inter-company transactions
• Staying on top of and managing AP, AR transactions
• Assist in the development of financial statements for reporting purposes
• Investigation of accounting transactions, ensuring coding correctly, balancing accounts, etc.

Ideally, the candidate would have prior work experience with QuickBooks (online version preferred, but willing to consider desktop version).

Pay rate during the contract portion of this role ranges from $45/hr to $55/hr, depending on experience and fit.
