Management Company Assistant Controller / Controller
Job Description
Unity Search has partnered with a fast growing Private Equity firm in its search for a Management Company Assistant Controller. This role will report directly to the Director of Finance (dotted line to CFO) and will have a variety of different responsibilities including but not limited to: accounting and reporting for the management company and upper tier entities, preparing and/or reviewing the monthly and year-end closing process for the management company and various subsidiaries. The ideal candidate for this role would have 8 to 12 years of solid accounting foundation, preferably with experience in private equity/investment industry and/or management (operational) accounting within another industry. CPA and/or public accounting foundation required. Strong Excel skills are required. This is a great role with tremendous upside as the firm continues to grow! Salary for this role will depend on experience but will probably fall in the $150K to $180K range + 50% Bonus Target.
