Unity Search has partnered with an a diversified global investment manager with over $40B AUM that is looking to add a Fund Accounting Associate to their team. The company is located in Knox Henderson and offers hybrid (3 in/2 out) work schedules. The also promote strongly from within, offer a great work/life balance, and extremely low turnover. Depending on experience, this role could pay in the 85-105k range + bonus.

Here are some of the responsibilities:

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for real estate investment funds
Prepare quarterly investor capital statements
Prepare supporting schedules for quarterly letters from management to the investors
Ensure investment activity is properly recorded by Operations Team Assist with supporting the annual external audits
Prepare GAAP basis financial statements
Coordinate with Operations, Asset Management, Treasury and Tax teams
Prepare periodic capital calls and distributions to investors

Some of the requirements are:

Bachelor of Accounting required
2+ years of accounting experience
Either from public accounting, fund accounting, or a combination of the two
Strong excel capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication
Hungry to grow and WANTS to be in this industry
