Unity Search has partnered with an up-&-coming fund administrator in Dallas that is experiencing tremendous growth and looking to add a Fund Accountant to their team.  Our client offers a great work/life balance, full benefits, and a management team that takes employee mentorship and development seriously.  This is a middle-office position that would interact regularly with several private equity clients.  Compensation for this opportunity will go up to 75k + bonus.

Some of the main responsibilities are:

• Management of and regular communication with clients
• Financial reporting for private equity and alternative investment clients
• Prepare and review capital call templates and distributions
• Financial statement preparation for partner capital account statements
• Book, review, prepare, and reconcile cash transactions, accruals, management fees, etc.

Some of the main requirements are:

• Bachelor’s or above in Accounting or Finance required
• 6 months+ of fund, real estate, or investment related accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial start-up environment
