Primary Responsibilities:
- Report to the CFO and assist in developing financial plans, supporting strategic planning, analyzing financial performance, and providing financial insights
- Update and maintain the corporate financial model
- Create financial budgets and forecasts and develop integrated financial plans that account for multiple scenarios
- Conduct month-end and quarter-end variance analysis to compare the budget and/or rolling forecast against actual performance
- Identify, analyze, interpret, and process financial and operating transactions and data
- Communicate scenarios to CFO
- Assist in the implementation of business intelligence tools and dashboard reports
- Assist in financial analysis for senior management to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- 7+ years of experience in corporate finance
- Accounting background preferred
- Energy experience required
- Upstream O&G preferred
