Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage global financial consolidation process for multiple regions.
  • Oversee inter-company accounting and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare monthly reports and present findings to executive management.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS and identify reporting issues.
  • Collaborate with management to establish financial policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Streamline processes for efficient financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with international finance managers to ensure timely and efficient internal controls, tax compliance, and statutory filings.
  • Oversee the completion of annual financial audits in different regions, including management of schedules and preparation of financial statements.
  • Delegate and coach senior accountants and finance team members to complete multiple data requests.
  • Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in internal control systems.
  • Supervise the annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of financial data.
  • Manage company valuation models and other financial models for effective decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and ensure budgets are aligned with business strategies.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances, identifying potential risks or opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Continuously improve financial models to enhance accuracy and efficiency in decision-making processes.

Qualifications / Education / Experience:
  • Spanish/English language is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Latin American and US business and accounting practices, procedures, and regulations, including consolidation of financial statements and multi-currency accounting desired.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel are required.
  • Ability to travel to Latin America
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or CPA is required.
  • Master's degree in business administration, Accounting or Finance is a plus.
  • +5 years of accounting experience is required. Public accounting with audit experience is a plus.
